I am Melanie Garner and I love creating keepsakes.
I have always loved arts and crafts exploring many types. Drawing is not my strong point but I love playing with colour and texture. in 2017 I enrolled on a Silver Jewellery course and I found my outlet for being creative.
I have loved and worked with horses since aged 7 and owned my beloved Dinks for 27 years until she passed. She was so precious to me and being able to create keepsakes that will remind me of her for years to come is precious. Being able to offer that to others is a pleasure.
I offer ready made pieces that you can have your horsehair set into. I also offer a bespoke service to make something special for you, designing a piece to suit your horse and your taste. This also included Horsehair Bracelets which are bespoke commission pieces.
I am registered with the Goldsmith’s Company Assay Office in London and have my own Hallmark.
I teach Natural Horsemanship and I am an Accredited Horse Agility Trainer and Judge. I feel my understanding of the horse and its precious value to us comes through in my creations.
It doesn’t stop at horses. I create a variety of other pieces inspired by horses but also by colour and texture. I incorporate alot of Gemstones and fancy beads into my work.
